Off topic but something to ponder.

Curiously, has anyone given thought to why this bail out hasnt worked as of yet? Yes, we have heard from Bush and Paulson say it will take time for the program to be implemented.

Think about this: Corporations who have been demonized by dumb ass politicians lookiing out for their own hide (placing blame) and the mainstream media have stopped doing biz as usual. Banks are saying FU we're not going to lend you money unless we're certain to get it back. Credit cards ?? FU we're not going to give you one unless you have perfect credit. You're late on a payment FU pay me or I will sue your azz like you want to sue me. You need a car? FU you dont make enough money to make me feel comfortable. Small business's need short term loans (Commericial Paper) to fund payroll or pay for inventory for the coming Christmas season, FU i'm not going to lend it because I need to build up my reserves because I'm being pinched on the other side by people not paying me back in a timely fashion.

This is a dangerous game being played by politicians who are denying culpability for the Fannie & Freddie mess.

Osama and his socialists agenda will have to borrow from the "middle class" because the "evil business's" will say FU pay me. You want me to pay for healthcare? Fine, we'lll charge you $10,000 more for my widgets. You won't pay me that much? Fine, I'm sorry Mr. Smith but I will have to let you go because I cant afford to pay you anymore.

The trickle up affect?? Can anyone provide ((((one )))) successful example of socialism ever?

No.

I disagree with A FEW of McCain's positions.

I disagree with ALL of Obama's.

I am still voting in the election. I cannot stay home because my candidate does not believe the EXACT same things as I do. I will vote because I seriously believe that the Democratic candidate will do more [irreparable] harm to our country with a Socialistic agenda and a Congress that could potentially leave him unchecked.

Does anyone here think that the corrupt politicians and CEO's who have created financial destruction will be brought to justice with a government controlled entirely by one political party???
I will use this analogy:

A person is on trial for armed robbery of a liquor store. On the jury sits 12 people who have family members who have been convicted of various felonies including armed robbery.

Do you really think this guy will be convicted?

When Osama who has the most Liberal voting record ever is partnered with a Liberal Congress with a cloture majority we have a very dangerous sitution. There will be no checks and balance. What ever they want they get. That means they will follow through with all of the entitlement programs at our expense. All of the wonderful things they talk about will be implemented. You deserve free healthcare!! You deserve free education!! You deserve free this and that!! It all sounds great until you hear who has to pay for it. Well guess what? The "evil" business community will be much more conservative in the coming years and therefore not generating the type of income which means less income for the goverment. Which means we are taxed more than we're now.

I'm LOL'ing at the guy in Florida, I think, who introduced Palin or McCain at a rally IN HIS OFFICIAL UNIFORM and called Obama "Hussein" and now might lose his job b/c he promoted a political candidate while in uniform.

Karma is a bitch, and I hope it was worth saying "HUSSEIN" in your uniform to frighten people of this exotic, America-hating Presidential candidate! LOL!

KARMA!

Hoes, how do you respond to the rest of what was written by ADZE and myself?

Do you think that we will be better off in a one party controlled government?

NO NO NO, it is NOT ever beneficial to have one party dominating. I agree with you guys 100% there, without reservation.

It is absolute power (kinda, with checks and balances from the minority party) and typically corrupts absolutely.

However, I prefer Obama as Prez, and I'm not going to vote for McCain just b/c its generally better to have more balance in the branches.

YouTube - Bigoted Florida Sheriff uses Uniform against Obama

KARMA!

The reason the man faces diciplinary action from his job as a uniformed officer is because he broke written policies about playing politics in uniform.

Not because he called the B. Hussein Obama by his birth name.

There would be a line outside the guy's door with freedom of speech lawyers to defend him if he was diciplined for doing the same out of uniform. And the department would lose. Its called the first amendment and Karma has nothing to do with it.

Doh!!! Apologies to Hoe. I got your post wrong. I think you were saying the same thing...

Why is the title of that video "BIGOTED Florida Sheriff....."?? Has he ever been charged [or convicted] in a bias crime?

More Smoke-and-Mirrors slant by the cuckoo birds in the media who are creaming in their pants to get Obama elected.

Fair enough. But I will stand by my previous post. I agree more with McCain's policies and proposals than Obama's.

I had the opportunity to attend an Obama speech yesterday, and he can really connect with a crowd. If elected, he may be the Democrat's version of the "Great Communicator".

If I get the opportunity, I'll attend a McCain speech as well.

I would not be worried about the effect of a single party rule too much, all of the polls I've seen have the Democratic advantage in next year's Senate to be under 60, which is what is needed to break a filibuster.

One of the best things about how the US government is organized is that it is designed to protect the minority, whomever they may be. We should always be grateful for that.

In lots of other countries, the losers go to jail...

Here's one important question: If Obama wins, will that mean that Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins will finally be able to move back into the US. After all, they promised all of us that they would leave if Bush were elected.

Can we at least torture them before blast-off?

And I get what you are saying about Gore, but I think he needs psychotherapy to get over the polar ice caps melting and his stunning loss in the election. I wish him well.
