ON 8/25/08 THE PUTNAM VALLEY FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ALERTED TO THE TACONIC STATE PKWY NORTH BOUND MILE MARKER 29.4 FOR A PIAA (PERSONAL INJURY AUTO ACCIDENT) REPORTED ROLLOVER. 1 VICTIM WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE AND HAD NON-LIFE THREATING INJURIES (MANY CUTS, SCRAPS, AND A LACERATION) AND WAS TAKEN BY PUTNAM VALLEY VOL. AMBULANCE TO WESTCHESTER COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER IN VALHALLA. PUTNAM MEDIC 2, NEW YORK STATE POLICE, AND NEW YORK STATE HIGHWAY HELP ALSO ASSISTED.
