Background:

San Francisco Police Officer Nick Birco was killed July 26, 2006 when his police car was struck by a stolen van driven by suspects who had just committed an armed robbery and were being pursued by SFPD units.

This video was of a press conference given by a member of the SFPD brass. This demonstrates how administrators should act.

I think this is the guy that was asked by the reporters if officers fired too many shots at a perp and he said "NOT ENOUGH SHOTS WERE FIRED"

I don't remember if it was this case or from something else.

He's right about the judges not being held accountable, the only time you see any cases regarding judges is when bribes are involved. So that either means they are doing their job to the fullest extent (which i doubt), or they are not being held accountable for their actions. . . just my two cents

The speaker is the PBA President of the San Francisco PD. We were shown the whole video including tape of the pursuit. The perp was a scumbag and the media was playing it up like it was the cops fault for chasing him. RIP PO Birco.
