Taking the PRA off an SCBA frame, and pretty much taking everything off but the shoulder and waist straps and cylinder strap ... you can set up a convienant carrying system for transporting your air bag-air supply. On your back. Wearing your supply just like a Scott Pak assists you in getting the air bags to a location remote from the rig/street. Also, your hands are free to carry additional hoses, tools, cribbing, etc. You can have your hoses and controllers attached and hanging from the waist strap, etc. Sky's the limit with this, use your imagination. It is also a tremendous asset when working in a confined space.
