Hey North Shore EMS is always hiring call 516-719-5050 if you have a card they now will hire you, as long as you pass the test... its easier to train some one new then to fix bad habits.....
Yeah, you needed to have three hooks and NYC 911 experience when I worked there years ago. Now anyone can get a job there, and get on a 911 truck your first tour on the street. The shore went from being a people organization to a numbers organization. Fill the truck with two shield numbers and stay 89, thats their motto over there.

i agree on that being a former nsuh ems employee.....the bottom line is the place totally sucks

MVAC has hired several paid emts. I heard that they may be taking the word "volunteer" out of their name, but that was just a rumor at some installation dinners.
