1stdueindaView Fear III Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Fighting Fourth Posts:612	Bay Shore FF's honored Go to Top I was shocked, dismayed, in awe, and blown away to see that Newsday actually ran a decent story about Long Island firefighters. I believe it is page A37 that the story is on if someone can post it. Two firefighters from Bay Shore rescued a homeowner from certain death by plowing through a bedroom wall and pulling him to safety, back in September of 2007. The Fireman's Association honored them with Medals of Valor at the Bay Shore firehouse. Congrats to the Captain and 2nd Lieutenant on their honor and congrats to Newsday for getting their heads out of their asses for just a brief moment. This just in.. Their heads have returned to quarters.. Sorry guys.. thought we had one..
