Does anyone know what the bethpage buff ch is or what its used for or by? The other day the bethpage dispatcher told car 1 to go over to the buff ch.

How bout Bethpages main channel. All of the alerts sound different. Heard tonight that they have been on the backup system for 3 days and all alarms are general.

yea something was defintely messed up with their channels i heard them doin a couple of radio tests this morning between 900 and car 1. And they use the buff channel for anything from what i heard.

They lost there repeater, on Saturday night. So thats whats with the BEEP transmission BEEP. They use the buff channel for anything. From asking whats burning where, info on a pin job or a heads up on M/A jobs.
