We're discussing Bill Bennett's Firefighting Book!
Announcement - MY BOOK IS OUT! BEHIND THE FIRE LINE BY BILL BENNETT
Most of you know that my book " BEHIND THE FIRE LINE" is completed. It contains 80 pages with 93 color pictures of firefighters in action. I will have very limited copies available, which you can purchase directly from me. You can also get the book online by clicking on the link below.
Hey Bill, do you have the classic shot of the 3 remaining TDA's in service in Nassau county... from Elmont's wet down in the book?
No but i had considered putting that photo in. One of the hardest parts of putting together this book was making the decisions on what pictures to put in and what not to. I have so much stuff that i wish i could put it all in. The only pictures i have of FD Trucks in the book are (as most of you know that there are only 5 of them left in nassau county) are of the ones i took > Mack tower ladder group shot.
This book has 93 color pictures in it and 62 of them are of fires. A few of accidents and a few group shots of local FD companys. I have the classic picture of Uniondale's engine at a job where they broke the windows of a car (that was parked in front of a hydrant) to hook up for water. Oh and yes i have a Picture of George Bush.
I have PM all of you but i wanted to say in this thread THANK YOU all for ordering my book. I really hope you enjoy it as much as i have enjoyed being part of what you all do! As i have always said "Be safe and watch the collapse zone!
