1 cup up chicken
1 cup self rising flour
salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder (to taste)
1 package ground pork (to make the balls, see below)
4 large onions
1 large container chicken stock
2 tablespoons corn starch (for thickening)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 can bean sprouts
1 package chinese noodles for garnish
Chinese meatballs:
1 package ground pork
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cup plain bread crumbs.
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
combine all ingredients
brown balls in frying pan with 2 tablespoons of oil until browned
Flour chicken and pan fry until slightly browned on all sides, set aside
In large skillet add 3 tablespoons of conola oil, heat over medium high heat, add onions and bean sprouts until slightly transparent. Add back chicken pieces. Add spices to taste along with meatballs,soy sauce, chicken stock and water. Cover and cook about 20 minutes then add corn starch mix ( 2 tablespoons corn starch to 1 cup cold water) continue cooking 20 minutes more over medium heat.
Serve over Rice and garnish with chinese noodles.
