I have always wondered does Hempstead catch much work outside of Hempstead like as a M/A company? I know Hempstead invites other depts to the party all the time I was just curious if they go outta town a lot.

We go to Uniondale,West hempstead, So.Hempstead and Franklin Square in the Battallion and Garden City and Baldwin outside the Battallion. If they need us they use us... Ive always caught good TRUCK WORK in Uniondale, West Hemp and So. Hemp cause we are so close and w/ our Mutual aid plan (trucks rotate each month) we can get out quickly. So if these Depts catch a good job we do too.

I heard set the clocks made an appearance in the "buffpen" at last nights job.

I did not make that fire but one of the guys from my co buffed it and told me this morning that there were not only more BUFFS than members from DA HUB - but that a good amount of the buffs got in before some of the trucks. UN REAL!!!

IF the entire county was like the NYFD, Da HUB would be like 1 of the ELITE rescue company's

Italian? Greek? In the end does it really matter. It was a great night and a damned good story so I am fully satisfied. Also I am grateful for Fr. Tom's nice penance for the week, he went easy on me.

Was not at the last 2 fires in Da HUB. Every body is sayin that the late nite fire went like clock work. BUFFS were prob amazed at how fast you knows get them out.

The "Tall Guy "was doing some inline pumping of his own... Did Father Tom reccomend some Babysitting community service as penance..???
