Hey Ghetto...

At least when I show jealousy I do it to your face like I did the other day....

One of these weekends when the misses goes away I may have to camp out on the apparatus floor for a weekend to catch some work....

Orange "The Hub " goes back to the 19th century when Hempstead was one of the main stops along Hempstead tpke to the City for the farmers on the island, also due to its Transportation "Hub" linking the city with the island via the LIRR Train Station and MSBA Bus Terminal. And before Roosevelt Field Mall all of the Retail Stores were in Hempstead similar to Jamaica ave in queens.. Hence "Da Hub..."

IT'S THE HUB...THEY GET ALOT OF THE ABOVE, WHICH SOMETIMES LEADS TO ALOT MORE....OF THIS
...ARMCHAIR QUARTERBACKING.....
AND THE HISTORY OF THE HUB, IS IT HOUSES THE NASSAU BUS TRANSPORTATION TERMINAL

AND OFTEN RESEMBLED A PLACE LIKE THIS...

BUT THE WAY IT IS BURNING..IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE THIS....(MEANT FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY LOL ).......

A little History lesson on how the nickname Da Hub came about.

History of Hempstead Village

A few more tid-bits of info from Wikipedia.

"Hempstead is just as urban (at least with regard to population density and activity) as any major city. In stark contrast to the surrounding villages in the town and county, it is more densely populated than Vancouver, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Providence, Los Angeles and even New York's own Yonkers and Staten Island. If Hempstead were a city, it would be the 12th most densely populated city in North America."

"Economically a satellite city comparable to the City of Mount Vernon, New York and one of the least suburban suburbs of New York City, Hempstead is legally an incorporated village."
