Its acutally good to see some celebrities "give back a little"....

...Steve Buschemi (Sopranos, several movies, etc) is a former 55 Engine brother. The day they closed 212 Engine in Brooklyn, he was locked up for obstruction along with several others that formed a "human chain" in front of quarters.

Say what you want about how he depicts FF on his show, but a portion of that show's revenue goes to help brothers or to burn centers, good job Leary, keep it up.

Buschemi also volunteered for weeks at Ground Zero.

They officially "broke ground" on the new high-rise simulator at The Rock two days ago. However, they started working on it several weeks ago. Saw them working on it when I was there last week. Should be useful once it is completed.

Thats good to hear, especially when the job is trying to enforce operating at wind driven fires.

The man may tend towards melodrama in his show but even before 9-11 and before this show he was doing this good work
Bravo Zulu Dennis
