I believe I heard OBPD report child was out of water and breathing. Can anyone verify?

Just got off the phone with the old man ... OBPD got the call from a little kid saying his sister was in the pool drowning but someone was getting her out PD responded and child was already out of the pool ENFC was notified and responded and transported child to syosset

I was on the call. Upon arrival we had a 14 y.o. female who is a special needs child sitting in a chair, conscious & breathing. As per family at scene, she was face down in the water for approx. 30 seconds & appeared to be having a seizure. Family removed her from the pool & she began breathing on her own. Transported to Syosset Hospital for evaluation.

yes, typically from June to about late August pools become particularly hungry and aggressive, just before mating season or so I have heard...
