I noticed the other day going to work a large sign on 106/107 at the Broadway Mall that stated there was going to be a Emergency Management Drill at that location this upcoming week from 10pm to 6am one night. Anyone have any idea what they are planning to do?

From what we've been told, this is primarily a law enforcement exercise with very limited fire service involvement. It will from about 10 pm (when the mall closes) until about 6 am. They're talking like 200 victims involved.

Again, primarily run by the Feds.

I know we shouldnt be posting particulars about this but if what MCRACK says is true then i have a few questions
A. Why would there be a need for numerous hazmat rigs for a shooter in Ikea?
B.Why would this be confined to FBI supposedly when NCPD and NCFD would be first on scene to handle situation?
C. Why wouldnt surrounding depts. not be involved?

Just seems like the above quote would be unjustified if so.

actually there is no such thing as a 1905 signal 15, a signal 15 is a signal 15 no matter what time it is. If your department is supposed to have a signal 15 at 1905 and I'm busy with calls guess what, if it waits til 2130 so be it, calls come first.

I actually just shut it off once I know it works. Thunderfoot you have been on the ball past couple weeks though. It's rare we don't have it on time.

Somehow I think that, since this is a LAW ENFORCEMENT DRILL, you ain't getting that close to what's going on.
