In my opinion...this site isnt worth spending any money that they're asking you to spend. They claim that their diet is a "new and revolutionized" way of dieting. It really isn't. It's been proven for years that eating small meals spread throughout 5-7 times a day will promote weight loss. Eating small meals frequently speeds up your metabolism and helps keeps your body working regularly and prevents insulin spikes which in turn decreases fat storage. A great site that has some good nutrition info for free is Bodybuilding.com - The Future Of Bodybuilding! Huge Bodybuilding Site., in the forum section.

thanx mx boardin09! Proper eatting habits is the problem, my little guy eats all the time, not bad stuff (all the time), but too often. Mostly he sneaks off and we find remains so what we know he eats and what he eats is difficult. I wasn't diggin this but my wife wanted to give it a try thats why I asked. She figured maybe a set diet would help him better. He does work out in the gym 2-3 times a week.. I'll check out that site T.Y.

This probably wont be too easy to do at first, but I would just get all the "bad stuff" out of the house, or at least hide it really well. He can't sneak off with it if it's not there. Replace it with fruit, baby carrots and trail mix....yeah, it's a bit boring to eat as a kid, but it's better than nothing...and better than being made fun of for being the chubby kid on the playground.
Get the soda out of the house too, it's full of sugar which helps you retain water. Replace it with water or Crystal Light iced tea & lemonade. Regular iced tea is loaded w/sugar.

A few years ago I used to be really chubby for my age. Now I'm 18, and still working hard on my body.

I used to eat fast food, drink soda, and sit inside on the computer all day if I didn't have a baseball game. Now, I haven't touched any fast food in months, I don't drink soda at all, and I cut most of the sugary foods out of my diet. I hit the gym anywhere from 5 to 6 days a week, for an hour 1/2 to 2 hours every day.

Losing weight is all about commitment. Although I still way 220 pounds, I'm dropping the fat and gaining muscle. I've only been in this work out mode for about a month, and already I can see a difference in my body tone.

Commitment my friends.... Only way you will see an improvement.

just a little FYI...something i saw in a gym once....
1 soda per day for 365 days equals 15 pounds!! something to think about....

He goes to the gym 2-3 times a week..? He's already ahead of the game then.
He needs nourishment if he been hitting the gym hard or even at a medium effort. Fruit juices are okay in moderation, but even if a little extra is taken in it's only juice.
You didn't mention his age but a lot depends on how much he's still growing or whether he's past the stage where his growth has slowed down.
Someone younger with a higher metabolisn is less at risk for weight gain but regardless,........if he's going to the gym he NEEDS the proper nutrition or more serious consequences could occur.
How about some nice protein shakes after the gym or a smoothie prior to going there.

thats a good idea, He is already a tall kid and I think he will go through a growth spirt in a few years that will slim him down but I am trying to teach him and make sure that he conditions himself. He has a bit of a gut but solid all over the rest of him. He loves going to gym and they train him hard it is really great to see how enthusiastic he is about it..
