[Keep Back 500 Ft.]

New Long Island news station on channel 501 of FIOS for all you verizon cable subscribers. Just started 2 days ago. A little weak but I hope it gets better. Alternative to Channel 12 news.

they're calling it FIOS1.....(just general for the news channels, because instead of 501 witch does work... its also CHANNEL 1)

right now they are showing high school lax

News 12 L.I.?? Do they know that Nassau County not to mention Kings Cty. and Qns. Cty are also "Long Island?"

OK,I won't mention Kings and Queens.

News 12 spends their time promoting Suffolk Co. and the "upper class" of the north shore. Southern Nassau? Let's see.Hmmm What bad news stories can we air from Nassau. They're no better than "NEWSRAG"!!!!! What else can I say? Obvious is obvious.
Used to like 10/55 but they are falling in line.

Nassau County--the forgotten county between the city and suffolk--we need our own news station.

New 12 has literally had significant incidents (fires and MVA) within a block of their studios and the story either doesn't get covered or winds up on two days later, but it's almost breaking news when some schmuck in the Hamptons leaves his gate open and his dog wanders off...stay classy News 12
