The LIRR number for training is (516) 523-1184 or you can send a email to emergresp_training@lirr.org The training course is free. The LIRR will come to your firehouse for the presentation then schedule another night at NCFSA for the mock up exercise. A "walk thru" in the nearest yard can also be scheduled to see the trains up close.

What the MTA along with the chiefs of Bethpage and Hempstead did was something that you will not presently get out at FSA. The chiefs of these two departments in cooperation with the MTA addressed a legit issue that happens more than people realize. Someone under a train and how to get them out, not a train car bathroom fire.
