Manpower response SOPs and how ff's respond to calls here in nassau county vary greatly from dept to dept.

Theres depts that have sop's on when a truck or an engine can and can't roll out. ( min. amount of class A ff's, driver, officer, etc)

Some depts roll driver only and all responding members meet the apparatus at the scene while others wait for a full crew to roll. Some depts with multiple companies have all personnel respond out of one station in the daytime.

Let's hear the pros and cons of these response procedures.

I don't think there is pro's or con's to one departments SOPs. If it works for them great. Might I add SOPs are guides for members to follow but not written in stone.
