some of the concerns i agree with, like people worries about cancer, but for villages to hold off on this because the cell phone companies give them lots of cash for anntennas and they want to be compensated from the county/state or fed govt in the same way is just wrong and to me the villages are putting greed ahead of public safety - JMHO

This is by far, one of my biggest pet-peeves. (Maybe because I work for a cell company)

But, this completely falls under NIMBY (Not In My BackYard).

The residents that do not want to have any antennas in their neighborhood are the very first people to complain that there is no service in their house. Go figure.

I wonder how long its going to take for some event to happen, and for someone to complain that its the county's fault. Most likely, it will be that air-hole Schumer...


Don't forget, a lot of times, the residents are the ones that come to the town meetings and don't want to hear anything about new towers or any type of antenna systems. Sometimes the town/county/etc want to do business, but its the people.........ahhh, its no good, it gives cancer.
Well, guess what.... use that cell phone all day long, with your bluetooth headset, and eat your microwaved popcorn, and sit infront of your computer monitor, and spend an hour on the LIE sucking car fumes, but blame it on RF.
