Hi Everyone,

The very first episode of my podcast, "The ‘Average Joe’ Firefighter" just debuted on FireEngineering. com.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with a "podcast" it is an internet radio show that you can listen to online or download to an MP3 player.

The podcast is on basic firefighting tactics. I am very excited and I have worked very hard on this show. I am planning around 20 episodes.

My goal is to share what I have learned over the years, either on the training grounds, in the classroom, from senior firefighters who took me under their wing, or from my actual fireground experience. The podcast is intended to provide basic firefighting information to inform and educate you on various topics. Every podcast regardless of the specific topic will strive to put an emphasis on firefighter safety.
