In photo 15, it appears that the place where the 2 extra scotts are that one of them is lodged in the back almost impossible to get too. So my questions are:
- how far do these shelves move out?
- Is the remote for the hurst tools? Or is it easier then puling out the draws?
- The Shelves look like the smooched together so what if you need 2 tools in the same cabinet right away but you cant get to them because you only have access to one shelve?
It seems easier and more reasonable to get it from the other side of the truck. The sheves appear to go the whole width of the body and probably slide in both directions.

The boards on which the two extra Scots are mounted pulls out far enough that one could don the second one and walk away, not a problem.
I'm not sure which remote George is talking about.
The compartments go the whole width of the truck but none of the trays slide to either side.
Nice rig, Woody. I wish them luck with it. Who gets the old rig? When is the wetdown?
Heard they were trading it in , but now there is a push to keep it , and let the truck roll it. The old house at 103 cant hold it, but there are plans for a new one. maybe the fox can go to field house for a while until new house is built?
heard a rumor there is a Wetdown scheduled for Nov. 30th? anyone confirm?
Received an e-mail from the Officers this afternoon that it has been rescheduled for December 7th, probably from 11-2. Apparently there was a problem with November 30th.

You my friend.....are a S*$% Stirrer!!!!
There is not an ounce of truth to this post.
The old 446 is being traded in to New England Fire Apparatus.
The wet down is, as of today, going to be Dec. 7th.
Who cares about a ####ing wet down? It's a truck. It cost a lot of money. Doe's everyone in the company know how to use all of the equipment? Are there enough qualified drivers?
I'm not doubting that at all. I'm just talking about priorities. Wet downs are a fire service tradition. But when the department has the wet down; shouldn't really be a major concern.
And wasn't someone from you outfit injured recently in a WET DOWN???
One thing to tell your boss that your going to miss work because you messed up your shoulder while pulling ceilings, or you need a day off because of a bad smoke head ache. But it's another thing to get knocked off your rig and injured by another department's stang.
Oh God here we go again. What if this, What if that. I "know" the members in RVC FD know their stuff about the rig and the equipment. Also a wet down or, Dedication is good for all. Lets lighten up.
