FDNY reports: workers performing repairs from a hoist positioned at the fourth floor of the building dropped several bricks onto a sidewalk shed where additional workers were standing, striking one of the workers.
FDNY EMS treated and transported one stable patient to an area hospital.
DOB has issued a Stop Work Order for failure to comply with a previous Stop Work Order, and for not having a foreman on site overseeing operations. DOB will do a follow-up tomorrow.
FDNY, NYPD, and OEM have secured this incident.
