Unless you experienced it you'll never really understand how great it was to be in the Volunteer Fire Service back in those days. I'm sure glad I had the opportunity.

Those were truly "the days". I spent quite a bit of time dispatching in Jericho and remember all those white Macks! The days will never return but what a time they were!

Back in the 70's there was a film about the Nassau County Fire Service and it was narrated by Raymond Burr. Does anyone remember this one?
