Best regards, Rant Boss.
We're discussing Point Lookout Lido Dept Secretary 10/15
It it with the deepest regret that I must tell you of the passing of Ex-Captain of Renegade Hook and Ladder Company, Department Secretary and Active Nassau County Fire Marshal and fellow Ranter Shawn Guerin. Shawn is survived by his wife and three sons, his oldest is the Captain of Renegade Hook and Ladder and his middle son is a Lieutenant. His youngest is in the Junior Fire Department. Shawn's Father is an Ex-Chief of Point Lookout - Lido who is retired and living in Florida. He has two brothers that are former members of the Point as well. Shawn's niece is also a member.
Shawn most recent challenge was the computer geek of the Fire Marshal's tackling the two times a year updating of the Fire Service Directory. Before becoming a Fire Marshal, Shawn worked at Fire Com.
My deepest sympathies go out to his entire family. I will never forget his voice. I will never forget his love for his family.
No arrangements have been announced yet.
