PD was first o/s reporting a drowning victim in the backyard pool, requesting a forthwith on the bus. Both PWFD & NCPD Amb-2366 responded. NCPD Amb-2366 ended up transporting the victim to St. Francis Hospital in cardiac arrest & later pronounced in the ER.

PWFD FC-8588 o/s reporting a drowning victim in the pool, requesting a forthwith on Amb-8545, victim in cardiac arrest. PWFD Amb-8545 transporting victim to St. Francis Hospital. Doesn't sound like they're gonna make it.

I was on the bus for the first one last night. County transported. (I actually rode with the county AMT which was a pleasure, normally there is like turf rivalry when county comes to ports district for a call but this was an all around professionally run code) AND I was the operator of 8588 on the second one (just an FYI 88 is not supposed to go to the scene because isn’t BLS certified, but uh, I was in the neighborhood so I did it anyway haha) We transported to St Francis with two of our best AMT's on the bus. Neither of the victims made it. It’s that time of year for this kind of stuff to happen. Gotta be careful!
