if this a place where people can go to speak their minds and "rant", why do people get banned for saying things that others don't agree with?
Not sure who got banned, but its usually for something "bad"....
I've posted some "bad" stuff on here & I'm still ranting. Just like the FD though, there's a few rules... follow em and it'll work. Dont and your gone.
I'm not a mod or anything else for that matter, but seems to be a lotta stuff that others dont need to see going on here. We're here for each other, not to feed politicians/media, etc. Got shit in house, take care of it in house. No need to let everyone know everything.
I just think evereyone has a view and there own opinons. Just because someone didnt like it and they argued you shouldnt get banned. Maybe that guy who was arguing and being a ball buster was right. I say give every ranter who got kicked off another shot....They might have good points to hear.

This is a public forum readable by anyone who visits. Just because something may be true doesn't mean it should be posted for anyone and everyone to read. Everyone has "dirty laundry" -- this is NOT the place to air it out. Use your head when posting.
there is always one bad apple...we all make mistakes but there have been a few meltdowns. There are some people who hid behind their computer screen, ehh what can you do sh*t happens. THOSE PEOPLE GET BANNED
I agree that SOME people deserve to be banned BUT I also think some people get banned a little quick. I know Step got a few chances but others get a mod pissed off and are out over night.

Mods don't have the ability to ban anyone.
In 2 years and out of more than 3,000 users, 5 users have been banned, and that was only after clearly and repeatedly showing that they had no intent on following the few simple rules we have here.

all one of the poeple who got banned (who is the reason i made this one) is stick up for himself when he was personally attacked, but i didn't see the other person get banned...so i just think whoever is in charge of banning people should look at the whole story b4 making a decision, but thats just my opinion

You should know the whole story "b4" forming an opinion, and it's clear you don't. I can assure you nobody got banned simply for sticking up for themselves. You have no idea what kind of childish garbage got deleted...deleted for the benefit of the 99% of the users on here who can somehow, amazingly, abide by the simple rules we have.
I will agree some stuff on here gets deleted a little too quickly. Others might get banned for things they don't really deserve. There is also an argument for free speech truckordie but fortunately (or unfortunately if you've been banned) it's the Rant Boss' website, he is the man in charge so you either play by his rules or go somewhere else. At some point every member here might have an issue but we get reminded of the rules and then either deal with it or move on.

i understand that it is his website and he makes the final decision, and have no problem with that, i just wanted ot open up a channel for all of us to be able to discuss how we feel about people being banned
i would tend to believe that the majority of silent ranters who mostly just view the site would be quite pleased when trouble makers and shit stirrers are removed therefore makin it easier to read in peace...(although I could be wrong)

I've been down that road with the people on this site, it's like pissing in the wind sometimes so now I just don't waste my time anymore. I understand what you're saying. If you want to renew the issue than go ahead - more power to you.
TL254 - In my opinion you are wrong.
And before you all jump on me - I would like to see all the stuff posted on here and I'll be my own filter, I don't need some moderator doing it for me BUT I understand how you want this site run so I let it be and just abide by your "SIMPLE RULES"
