Save in Wyandanch by MVAC

The Mineola VAC had a pre-hospital save while standing by for the Wyandanch-Wheatley Heights VAC. At 01:28hrs a call came in for injuries from a fall while enroute they were advised that the Pt was unconsious and that rescue breathing was being performed. U/A they were advised by suffolk PD that the Pt had no pulse. CPR was promptly started, ALS interventions were performed by WWH-VAC providers. While onscene and during transport there was no shock advised. Prior to leaving the hospital the Pt had a pulse and a BP of 123/88. Pt is reported to be in the ICU at Good Sam.

Isn't Wyndanch a little far for MVAC to go for a standby ?
