The storm has knocked out Firecoms radios at least on 46.10&20 Phones and alarms are operational

650 has been toning out everyone and telling them to man their base stations

All members are being requested on 46.10 to respond to quarters at this time to man the base stations-Firecom is down.

The situation at Firecom is that they cannot transmit on any freq. all radios are down

PD has some frequencies down as well. We have a 14A hanging in our HQ and they are working on a Tact channel.

Sounds like this is going to be a while.

FireCom just toned out Carle Place on 46.10 may be using the backup system don't know the capabilities and what freq. they can use.

I believe they are working out of fieldcom now, so they should be in much better shape.

The CAD server for departments is still up.. Can't tell from home if the connection to the mainframe is still operational, and in turn able to send alarms to the CAD server, but it's definitely healthy and talking to the outside world.. that goes over the cable modem, so at least that and the TVs are up :-)

Exposure, don't take my word for it, but I believe they mentioned to 830 before that they can not. And my bad, 650 is still up. Kudos for everyone who is working to get everything together in this tough situation
