Actually just came back from texas.... and as we were heading to the airport to leave we past a firehouse and i realized it was this depts. Saw some of the rigs because some bay doors were open. Yea they need these big rigs... in one direction as far as you could see were oil companys..Ill look through all my pics and see if I got one of the firehouse

Hmm.. Possible trailer driver employment, and firefighting mixed in one!
I think that the flatbeds may have hose or containment barriers, since it has sides on it. Just an idea.

Welcome to RTFC - Refinery Terminal Fire Company, Inudstrial Emergency Services, Industrial Fire Fighting Company, Marine Firefighting, Emergency Response Training, Refinery Fire fighters, Industrial Fire Protection, Refinery Fire Safety

The Refinery Terminal Fire Company (RTFC) was established in 1948, in the wake of the Texas City, Texas disaster, and today is the largest non-profit industrial firefighting group in the United States.

RTFC currently has over 100 full time career firefighters, which operate 6 fire stations 365 days a year. All career RTFC firefighters are highly trained in industrial firefighting, storage tank firefighting, interior structural firefighting and marine firefighting; as well as hazardous material responses, emergency medical responses, confined space rescue, high angle rescue and trench rescue response.

RTFC currently protects over 70 individual facilities owned by 18 different corporations. RTFC operates as a "cooperative" company, as the Fire Company is funded by its membership.
