1. it was a code 34 ( fireman's family )
2. it was not an ex chief's house it was a ex Capt's house out of rescue it was a small grease fire on the stove knocked down by the ex Capt's wife with a dry chem extinguisher . the ex chief lives down the block and yes he is a very good guy
3. the rescue
co. was at a training class ( vehicle extrication) with fsa instructor's at e-3 qtrs , so it took us a few extra minutes to put all the tools away ect.
no lines stretched truck 1 345 opened up above the stove and cabinet area and rescue 347 vented the house which was pretty well charged with smoke .. no injuries and the member thanks everyone for there concern
