Most High schools are paying around $85 per game. Also Inwood is on a pay scale for years on the job. $20 is not starting salary.

If you want experience, go to nyc 911 to the voluntary hospitals......

maimonides, lutheran, nyph, lenox hill, st luke's/roosevelt, jamaica, flushing, north shore, st. vincent's, montefiore, st. barnabas,wyckoff, brookdale,caritas (st. johns, mary mac), I might have missed some, but they only hire EMTs and EMT-Ps, no CCs.

and the FD's dont really do too many legit runs i mean i have done some good calls in the vollies, but its just so much easier to get a legit shooting, stabbing, or trauma in the city

These salaries may seem low, but Upstate NY in Buffalo, Rural-Metro medics were going on strike, becasue the starting salary for EMT-P's was $9.70 per hour..... WTF over.... I dont see how they fill spots with salaries like that.

they have an extremely difficult time filling shifts. A lot of time they end up emailing their techs basically begging them to pick up shifts (especially standbys).

And that salary isnt correct. Emts start at $9.70 medics start at $12.50. At 10+ yrs. EMTs still make $9.70 and medics make 16.50
