If your looking for work, not just surveying what district is paying who what, try a voluntary hospital in the NYC 911 system. EMT's are making what medics make out here. It's also a good place for a younger tech to get experience at a continuous call volume.
St. Vincents CMC
NY Presbyterian
Lenox Hill
NY Hopsital-Queens
North Shore - however NS has a ton of inter facility work
thanks for all the responses,,, I moved out of Nassau several years ago, and I was just wondering for a comparison what some of the Dept's that hire medics were paying...
I know the voluntary hosp's pay much more.
down here in Maryland, EMT's are making about 12-15 and hour
and Cardiac Rescue Techs(CC's) and Medics are making 15-20 in some places 25...
And whoever wrote contact the Dept's, I tried looking on web site but couldn't find anything
