at approximately 6:40 pm today Williston Park was toned out for a house fire...on Park Ave. near Remsen St. Chief 8600 was first on scene and reported an attic fire. 1st due engine 863 was the first to arrive and under the command of 8600 knocked down all primary fire...followed by tower 862 and second due engine 861, as well as ambulance 866...the crews of 862 and 861 began the search for secondary fire in the walls, hot spots in the walls and floor were found and knocked down.....no mutual aid was necesary...all williston park units were given a 13/7 by chief 8600 at approximately 7:10 pm
